Master’s awards
The University of Manchester is proud to offer ten postgraduate scholarships to international students domiciled in Africa. Ten awards of £10,000 will be allocated on the basis of academic excellence.
Eligibility:
For the purposes of these awards, students will be considered from international fee-paying students from the following countries: Nigeria; Kenya, Ghana, Egypt, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa.
- Applicants for the African awards must have accepted a conditional or unconditional offer to study a full-time programme at Manchester and must submit an online scholarship application form by 19 June 2022. The application form will be emailed to all eligible offer-holders.
- Applicants will be considered for the award based on academic merit and the quality of their scholarship application.
- Applicants must be self-funded (ie not sponsored).
- Applicants for MBA, MPhil, Master of Architecture (MArch), Architecture and Urbanism (MA), Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA), Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), Clinical Medicine and Dentistry degrees are not eligible for the award.
How to Apply:
Applicants for the African awards must have accepted a conditional or unconditional offer to study a full-time programme at Manchester and must submit an online scholarship application form by 19 June 2022. The application form will be emailed to all eligible offer-holders and awards will be made by mid-July 2022.
