The Employability Support Project seeks to curb the problem of unemployment in Lagos state by increasing the pool of skilled manpower in the state by putting young Lagosian through the vocational training programs in order to improve their chances of getting a job.
Industry-relevant skills will be provided in trades that cut across key sectors of the economy, including but not limited to; Construction, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Beauty, Hospitality, Entertainment, Agriculture, Renewable Energy, Technology, and Creative.
The Employability Support Project presents a good opportunity for unemployed youths in Lagos State to empower themselves, start a career in their chosen field and drastically improve their prospects of securing jobs. The program also aims to place successful trainees in jobs after training has been completed
The project is managed by LSETF and relevant partners, while the training sessions are administered through a large network of competent and certified Vocational Training Centres.
