The Eichholz Law Firm Scholarship

The law firm is located in Savannah, Georgia, and offers legal assistance to victims of personal injury. As a service organization committed to helping clients and fighting for justice, we have a responsibility to give back to their community. The Eichholz Law Firm Scholarship for Higher Education is one of the many ways that we intend to uphold this responsibility. They are extremely proud to offer a qualified student in their community with commendable academic and extracurricular activity this scholarship.

Every year, the law firm will award one high school senior a scholarship of $1,500 towards tuition costs at any accredited community college or university in the state of Georgia. This scholarship is only available to high school students in the following Georgia counties: Chatham, Effingham, Bryan, and Liberty.

Eligibility

Qualified candidates must be an in-state senior high school student that exemplifies the following five traits that make up a successful student:

Communication
Motivation
Self-Awareness
Good-Listening
Intelligence

To be eligible, candidates must also adhere to these requirements:

- Applicant must be enrolled or accepted in an accredited community college or university in Georgia.
- Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.25 unweighted.
- Applicant must be a high school student in the following Georgia counties: Chatham, Effingham, Bryan, and Liberty.
- Applicant must submit an original essay.

Essay Topic:

What do you consider to be your most important extracurricular or community activities? What made you join these activities? What made you continue to contribute to them?

- Essay must be at least 500-words on the provided topic.
- Applicant must complete the application in its entirety before the scholarship deadline (to start in the fall of the same year).
- Applicants are required to include their contact information on the essay attachment.
