The Oyo state government has called on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, MSMEs in the state to apply for a business operation grant from the Nigeria COVID-19 Action Recovery Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES) programme.
The Nigeria COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus (CARES) Programme is an intervention programme put out by the Oyo state government to mitigate the local effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, by protecting the livelihoods of existing and newly poor and vulnerable households, and supporting the recovery of local economic activity especially among MSMEs.
Meanwhile, all residents and small business owners in Oyo state, are eligible for the grant.
DLI 1: Credit Grant – For businesses that obtained loan from June, 2020 till date and need financial support to pay the loans.
DLI 2: Operation Grant – For businesses that need financial support to pay rents, salaries, utilities, supplies etc.
